I can't believe that it is almost the end of February and I got back from Australia almost a month ago! Time sure is flying!! The past couple of weeks have been busy and exciting! I traveled back to Bermuda for my reading week break from school last week and it was great to be back home and out of the snow!! :) Unfortunately my track chair did not make the flight down with me so I had a couple of 'forced' days off from training (But air canada was great and delivered it to my house when it arrived a few days after I did). I am now back in Canada and was very excited to get back here as my new track chair has arrived (and of course I had to have pink on it somewhere :))!!! I got in it for the first time last weekend and it is very different from the one I have now and will take time to adjust to it and get my positioning right in it. It is a very bittersweet time right now as I am slowly transitioning to the new chair. I am excited about it but it is also sad to be moving away from my old chair that I have had so many great times and adventures in! (It is my Paralympic chair after all!! :)) I am so grateful to Tokio Millennium Re who have been incredible sponsors to me and who have helped fund all the incredible opportunities I have had to continue training, competing and representing Bermuda and to the staff for raising the funds for my new chair.
